This course provides an overview of the most common implementations that are currently in the ecosystem for deployment of the Ed-Fi platform. Benefits and challenges to each approach are shared and those that offer the best growth potential are highlighted.

- Identify four common implementation patterns in the Ed-Fi ecosystem
- Describe the benefits and challenges to each implementation approach
- Identify ways to maximize the effectiveness of Ed-Fi’s collective impact
Course Outcome
By the end of this course, Academy students will be able to:
- Describe the pros and cons of the various implementation patterns, and what has been learned about each
- Understand that although there are many implementation patterns for Ed-Fi, the model for sustainability and long-term success for school districts is the integrated model, where work is happening at the local, regional, and state levels
